The Port - the heart and soul of Skagen.

Indisputably Skagen's largest workplace, it's also one of Denmark's biggest fishing ports.

The Port isn't just small fishing boats and colourful nets.  Today it's home to  super efficient, modern fishery and shipbuilding industries.

Whilst Karstensens Shipyard builds and repairs ultra modern, effective fishing vessels, Danish Yacht designs and constructs multi-million luxury yachts. And daily, tonnages of freshly caught fish are sold at auction, preserved or processed into fish meal and oil.

Port of Skagen embodies it all, yet constantly expands and develops.  Currently, we're extending the port area with several square miles.
